What Happens After an Animal Is Caught
The animals we capture, including coyotes, foxes, bobcats, and raccoons, are classified as Rabies Vector Species (RVS) under Georgia regulations. Because RVS animals cannot be relocated or transported for release, all captured animals must be humanely euthanized and properly disposed of in accordance with Georgia DNR regulations and Georgia law.
